We took the boys to Wendy’s for lunch today and treated them each to a Junior Frosty. I mentioned once again the joy of dipping one’s fries into a Frosty*, and – as usual – Jason told me I was nuts.
A: I am not the only person in the world who does that!
J: Oh yeah? Go start a Facebook group and see if anyone ever joins. What you’ll do is find the few other people in the world who are as nuts as you.
A: How much you want to bet there’s already a group?
J: There is NOT a group for that.
Ahem. He stands corrected.
I searched “fries frosty” on Facebook. I had to stop counting groups for it after I reached forty, because I was laughing so hard. There are over FORTY groups on Facebook devoted to dipping your fries in your Frosty! (In fairness, there are also a few stating that it’s a disgusting habit, but what do they know?) Group names include (all titles sic):
- French Fries Dipped in Frosty = Crazy Delicious
- dipping frieds into frosty’s is the coolest (Oh, the grammar pain!!)
- For Everyone Who LOVES Fries in their Wendy’s Frosty!!!!!! (Yes, there are 6 exclamation points.)
- FROSTY & FRIES – happy times!
- I dip my Wendy’s Fries in my Wendy’s Frosty and I’m proud of it!!!
And the list goes on…
So, if you like your fries and your Frosty cohabitating, stand up and be counted! You’re not that weird after all.
*It should be noted that when I say “Frosty,” I am referring to what they now call a Chocolate Frosty. I remain firm in the original verbiage, from the days when there was no other choice.

The percentage of people that you call “normal” is not even 1% of all people on Facebook! You’d have a better argument on your other crazy delicacy, catchup on scrambled eggs!
Alas, these are the weird things that I love about you!

I LIKE MY FRENCH FRIES DIPPED IN MY FROSTY. And I’m not even IN one of the facebook groups. So do other people at the theatre. We were talking about it last week! 😛
Of course, I SELDOM eat at a fast food place… And I’ve given up soft serve since I worked at Friendly’s… You don’t want to know.

YUCK! I have only known one other person in real life to do that. She was Jacob’s sitter when he was itty-bitty. I had to let her go before she made my kid weird too, lol!
Ketchup on scrambled eggs? Ok, it’s official, YOU ARE WEIRD! Love ya anyway!
There is more than one frosty flavor? Man, it’s been a while since I’ve had a frosty.

I have never tried this. But I will. Oh, yes, I will.
(But I won’t join the facebook group, ’cause I prefer to be weird on my own. 🙂

I have always enjoyed McDonald’s fries in the vanilla shake. I need to try the frosty sometime. Probably about a gajillion points on Weight Watchers though.

Although I can’t abide the fries in frosty thing, all of you should know that Aimee learned about ketchup on scrambled eggs from me. I learned from my dad, he from his dad, etc. So, you see, it is a long standing family tradition, not to be scoffed at lightly!

It’s not weird. At least, normal people don’t think it’s weird. And when there are over 400,000,000 people on a website, with 100,000,000 accessing through their mobile devices, you can’t discount that there are too many groups to count for one activity. 🙂
Oh, and ketchup on eggs–everyone has at least one person in their family that does that. Scrambled eggs are dull without something… a lot of people use hot sauce.
