While packing boxes yesterday, I ran across my Poetry Book, written and compiled in sixth grade. In honor of Thanksgiving, I give you an acrostic:
Hmm, little did I know that would mean “domestic scientist!” And how ironic that I never took a day of chemistry in my life.
There is much to be thankful for, this year and always. I’m working on remembering that on a daily basis. Everyone have a great, happy Thanksgiving, and give extra hugs to those who are dear to you.

How cute! Somewhere around here I have a “Thankful” book I wrote in Kindergarten. Among the things I was thankful for, my house, my brother, pumpkins and spiders.

How cute! I think it’s interesting that you wrote that you wanted to be a scientist when you “graduated college” and not when you grew up!

Lauria, I think that’s because I was sick of the question, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” How many times did we hear that as kids? The question began to grate on my nerves…after a while, it felt so patronizing. LOL

When I grow up I want to be a student, forever and ever…
