You didn’t really think I was going to let you off without seeing FIL’s handkerchiefs, did you? (Lauria!)
Of course not!
All ironed and crisp, and sitting so nicely for their photo shoot (so much more cooperative than the munchkins):
And here they are, nestled snug in their bed, with visions of sugarplums dancing in their…umm…never mind…
Ready for wrapping!

Awesome! Robin uses hankies, and I’d LOVE to embroider some for him someday. You know… When I LEARN how to embroider! The monogrammed ones are very classy and classic. The Bless You! one made me literally laugh out loud! What’s the one under the computer? Some kind of microchip? Or an alien robot? Or a maze with cheese? 😛

Awesome Aimee. Do you use a hoop to embroider, then iron them out? I haven’t embroidered in years. I forgot to take pics of the teacher scarves, argh. And Nate’s teacher’s turned out so nice.

Lauria, you can do it! I taught myself from reading blogs & such online. It’s easy. I printed the images out on my computer, colored over the back with pencil, then transferred them onto the hankies (kind of like carbon paper, which would also work, as a matter of fact). I used back stitch (which I knew from my cross stitching days) and split stitch & seed stitch (which I learned online).
The one under the computer is a circuit board (from inside a computer). Thank you, microsoft clip art. 😉
Sheri, yes, I have a teeny little hoop, and then I ironed them. Oh no! I wanted to see pics of the scarves! Maybe you can get some of them wearing them in the new year?

I have a pic of Jacob’s teacher opening hers, that Jacob made. I will post that one. I printed the pic of him making it and put it in her card. Will have to catch Nate’s teacher with hers on, I guess.
