Hi Aimee! I can’t help, sorry, but just wanted to tell you that the weird thing is the image looks just fine in my RSS reader, it’s not until I visit the blog that I see the pointy corners. Hmmm….. will do a Nancy Drew and see if I can find an answer!

PS what did you use to make the rounded corners?

I took a look at just the image file https://aimeewrites.files.wordpress.com/2010/02/img_1207.png?w=490&h=653
and it looks fine, so I think your image is OK. But it is inside a div/class called “snap_preview” – could that affect how it is displayed? Or maybe the image class itself is causing the border to appear. Are you able to manually edit your stylesheet?

Mim, wow, thanks! I have no idea. I just use WordPress’s photo insertion tool. Oh well, I’m planning a whole blog revamp one of these days, so I think I’ll address it all at the same time.
Ah, I rounded the corners in photoshop – clipped the photo to a rounded-corner rectangle & merged.

Hey Amy, it’s because your photo is a link to go somewhere else and that’s set up with a border. Miriam is right. It’s definitely the Snap Preview that’s causing it.
That’s also why it doesn’t show up on an RSS feed.
Do you have a flicker account you can upload to instead? that would help.

Lauria, thanks! I do have Flickr, but what a pain…I want easy, one-step insertion. (whine whine! LOL) Thanks so much for the info. Looks like I have work to do…
