My parents were in town less than twelve hours. No worries, it’s all in the plan! They’re in Portland right now, on a pre-house-hunting trip. They’ll be back tomorrow for nearly a week of family time.
When I dropped them off at the car rental place yesterday, Mom spied with her little eye a thrift store of which I was previously unaware. After I saw them off, I ducked in and spent $1.40.
This thing is sturdy, and it works for both right- and left-handers. (Important, since I’m the only righty in the house.) The boys have already gotten a kick out of it, and I haven’t even let them near the eggs yet. (Thorough cleaning needed first.)
Plus, it’s really kind of beautiful, don’t you think?
